What a find!!!!!! From the juice to the food and finished with the coffee, it was all delicious. The food presentation was impressive.

We&#39;ve been here a few times now and the service and food is always excellent. Great specials board...it&#39;s always really hard to choose.

We had a fabulous meal here. The pappadums on arrival were a nice welcome. The goat curry was excellent, with loads of yummy gravy. The vegetable korma was also very tasty, once again with lots of sauce. Lucky we ordered the roti and to lacha pratha mop up all those delicious sauces. Would definitely eat here again when we next venture down to Lilydale.

The Lilydale General is fast becoming my favourite spot to hit for brunch when I am visiting family and need to hit a bullseye. The food and service is always top notch with my only complaint being that with the industrial layout of high ceilings and concrete flooring it gets very noisy on the days that it fills up - other than that it&#39;s pretty close to perfect

I dined here for coffee&#39;s on Mother&#39;s Day. We were promptly seated and chose to sit in the outdoor section, they had a big undercover section with heaters that was sufficient to keep us warm. The wait staff were very attentive and the drink were fantastic. Iced Coffee &amp; Iced Chocolate served in jars. The were delicious. Would love to come back and try out the breakfast items. Also eyed off the slab of vanilla slice on the way out.. Have to come back to try that.
